Disney world vacation ideas and tips?

My two friends and I are going to Disney World in August, and we are all around 25. We have never been so any suggestions you have would be great. We already have our trip booked besides airfare, we are staying at Pop Century. We do have dinner reservations for a show for Arabian Nights, so we need to know the best way to get there, taxi, or another suggestion? Any suggestions and tips, I would really appreciate it.
