Help making latte art?

So I wanted to make some really simple latte art, but I don't have any special tools haha. Basically I have a handheld milk her, coffee maker, and cappuccino mix. Is it possible to make good latte art with this? Haha I feel like there is some trick to this. I tried making a cappuccino (less than half the cup, and a little strong) and then pouring the hy milk in. It basically just mixes up...Help please!
