Should i cut my hair short?

i'm a pretty femme... although i feel a masculine drive behind, you could never tell!!!! People say i would be kinda shy in relationships. I don't think i'd be able to pull of butch, but i have the facial features for it. I really think i would look quite attractive with short hair, but would my personality not match?
