What does this mean girls ??? Guys too may chime in :)?

In college if a girl says to a guy "you look good in that jacket" does that mean anything or its a compliment?. I am a guy (duh) , a sopre doing my undergrad. This particular girl is in one of my cles and we have taken few cles together (worked on group projects) but we aren't really "friends". How should i interpret it girls? I am thinking it was just a compliment but am confused.
