First of all I'm sorry you'll have gone through this. But your mother can not be saved if she refuses to accept the help (that you wished she gets).. Because luckily in america there's something called woman liberation; if your mother really wanted to she could have move on. Get a job live w/ a friend till finding a job; or go to a homeless shelter or shelters for battered wowan; YWCA offers help for All woman to live with dignity—free from violence! Find a local church and seek help. There's lot of help for your mom to get away from your father IF SHE REALLY WANTED!. At this point sadly I think she is so used to it she doesn't know other wise. What you need to do is continue your education get a job and move out as soon as possible. When you are in a apt. ask her to move in w/ u. Most likely she will refused but you have done your deed.
