Tell me why else to be vegan?

ok i know why u people want to be vegan is becuase u hate to see animals raised and killed harshly and abusively. well then why don't u get ur own chickens to lay eggs for u??? we have chickens that lay fresh organic eggs and the family loves the chickens and we always give them hugs and stuff so nothing harsh going on there (we provide the chickens feed and shelter, so they can provide us with eggs!?) next why not get into hunting if u go hunt an animal out in the wild then the animal lives a perfectly good life and its over that quick and then its in an even better place... so whats wrong u vegans and vegetarians doing this kind of stuff?
