Fleetwood Mac vs. solo careers?

I've noticed that most Mac fans (myself included) tend to also be fans of Stevie Nicks' solo work, but nobody seems to pay any attention at all to Lindsey Buckingham (okay, small output, egotistical attitude, pretty much an a**hole on all counts). At the same time, most Mac fans pretty much dismiss the albums released post-Buckingham (agreed on Behind the Mask, but I thought Time was wonderful). So speak up and state your reasons for any or none of the above.
