First of all, I'm guessing I'm not missing out on much if I decline a pod XT if all I'm going to be doing is a lot of heavy distortion and some wah pedaling, right? I would call the doctor if I were you, and demand some info. A pelvic ultrasound doesn't take a month to yze, they should see what they need to while they are performing the ultrasound. You need to give the doctor an update on your symptoms and he will probably want you to come in again. If he doesn't bring you in for a visit, you need to switch doctors, because he obviously isn't taking your health seriously. The headache and fever along with the blurred vision I think warrants an ER visit. SOMEBODY needs to figure out whats wrong because it could be serious! Something is wrong here and you shouldn't have to wait a month with no word from the doctor and progressively get worse. You need to see someone NOW, whether it's your doctor or the Emergency Room and demand tests and answers. GL :)

Dear friends, I am trying to decide by Friday which school to get my Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from. I have been accepted into Johns Hopkins University, UC Berkeley, and Virginia Tech. US News Rankings: Johns Hopkins is #3-5, Berkeley is consistently #2. Virginia Tech is # 11-13. I am currently attending VA Tech (since Aug 2006) but spent the past 2 semesters taking 38 credits of background engineering cles (Fluid Mechanics, etc.). Regardless of choice, I should graduate in May 2008. Relative Costs until graduation: Virginia Tech: $8,000. Johns Hopkins: $25,000. Berkeley: $55,000. Virginia Tech is the only ABET accredited Master's degree, which helps me be an engineer because my BS is in Economics from UPenn. I like being surrounded by greatness, which I do not often find at Tech. No school has faculty who 100% align with my research interests. JHU is 1 hour from home vs Tech is 4. I want to be a consultant then CEO of my own company. I want a PhD eventually.

Gas tank won't fill up.?

Biter cold/snow here in N.E. Ohio, went to fill the gas tank, was reading 1/4 tank full, started pumping gas and it came back out. Tried again and pump wouldn't even work, removed pump nozzel to take a look and there was some gas sitting at the tank nozzle. Is it possible I have frozen water from bad gas in my tank? Why cant I get a home equity loan on my mobile home?

I have a 1994 mobile home on a big corner lot in PA. The mobile is anchored to a permanent cement slab and the axels and tires were pulled. There is now an addition so it looks more like modular, double wide,, not sure of the correct wording. The land and the home are both paid in full. My credit is fair. As soon as they hear "mobile" the conversation is over. Am i looking too the wrong lenders? Why will they not give me a loan and use my home as collateral? A couple of years ago I went to school to continue my studies and had to pay fo my tuition (work study) well long story short I paid for my tuition and met good people along the way....One of the people that I have met and have become close with was my Instructor...we got along very well and even went out a couple of times ( no Love interest) as friends...upon the completion of my studies and in the mist of moving into my own place and starting a new job she was one of the few that extended her services to me and i am forever greatful. Come to find out she ran her own business from home and was extremely overwelmed... between her teaching and her business she was on overdrive...well she asked me if I can ist her in her bussiness and I accepted only on my days off... I have done so for almost 2 yrs.and I most say we work well together and she is a very very smart individual in my eyes..however she is in a realtionship with a chronic alcoholic/ drug addict which affects her in many diiferent ways. Me personally I mind my bussiness and do what I got to do and pay the madness no mind; however its getting to the point where I can't deal with this abuse..although he is not physically abusing her he torments her while we are working and thats where the emotional rollercoaster come to play. She cries, she laugh and than shes a mess and loose concentration....many of her clients are complaining to me even her personal friends and I feel as though the wait of her situation is being imposed on me. I emialed her and expressed my feeling and I even started calling out just not to deal with that mess....but the money is good!! and I have come a long way working with her....My question is do I end this frienship?/ do I quit?/ Do i approach him? or do i mind my business and keep my legs? What is the name of this movie?

I saw this movie on cable in 2007 so it probably came out a few years before it...but it was really good. I don't know the name of it. It was about a family with the dad as an undercover cop, and the child runs away and gets abducted by this couple and they take him to their apartment attempting to molest him, but he hides in the bathroom and calls his neighbor who comes. When she knocks on the door the couple is really nice and everything seems normal and they seem like a nice family...they even have two children who are sleeping in bed. Then the neighbor leaves but comes back when she realizes that the couple didn't have any pictures of their children...which is suspiciously odd. She then barges into the living room and opens up the closet and finds many many cabinets of all these creepy serial killer tools and and lots of drawers with names of children on them. your list pretty much sums it up. don't let facebook, AIM, etc. from distracting you. i made that mistake my sopre year and my grades suffered. turn off any distractions until you have finished all your work. take advantage of make up tests and also extra credit opportunities if you are borderline bewteen grades. asking do to an extra ignment shows how dedicated you are in cl and shows the teacher that you are willing to do beyond the standards. participating in cl is also the best thing you can do to get noticed. the teacher is more likely to help out a student who actively participates and shares his ideas in cl than a kid who may be smart but never says a word. work hard this semester and at the end nicely ask if you can be put into honors.

They don't think it will happen to them would be my guess. I had the pleasure of traveling with a 12-year old girl when we on a plane having an emergency landing. She was making all kinds of jokes and laughing, everyone else on the plane was so serious, many were silently praying. It was everything I could do to make her shut her mouth. i know what you mean. i sometimes get the same problem. what i do is i always have a dictionary on hand, just in case i get stumped by a word or something, and i know some people think its cheating, but i check out reviews and comments from other sources to help me understand it better. with clics, sparknotes/cliffnotes can help, like with shakespeare. the stories are great but not always easy to understand. i check out a modern translation, and once the meaning sinks in, i go back to the original text to get the full effect.

What's wrong with my fish/aquarium?

I'm new to keeping fish and I tried to do everything right but apparently I've screwed up. I first used a three gallon Aquaview 360 tank for my three Paradise Gourami. It had no heater or filter. They seemed to hate it so I bought a 5 gallon tetra tank with a 5-15 gallon filter and a 77 degree preset heater. I first used tap water mixed with half a teaspoon of Aquasafe conditioner and a tablespoon of Aquiarium salt. I cycled the tank for a day and then put my three fish in. They love it for a few hours but when I woke up the next morning they were all sitting at the bottom of the tank and then swimming up gasping for air. I did some research and this means too much ammonia so I bought ammonia neutralizer and drop tester as well as pH tester and changer. I tested the ammonia and it was around .25 so I used the neutralizer until it hit 0. I tested the pH and it was about 7.2 so I lowered it a bit to around 7. A day and a half later two of the Gourami were dead at the bottom of the fish tank (not belly up). I then thought that maybe the tap water was the problem since I live in an area that has terrible town water. I bought 5 gallon water jugs and repeated the process with them. The last Gourami is at the bottom of the tank now. I have tested the water and everything is normal. Temperature, pH, ammonia levels are all normal. I thought my filter might be too strong so I lowered the speed that it was pumping out water and it didn't change anything he is still at the bottom. I don't want this fish to die, can someone help me?

The problem is more than likely your thermocouple. It resembles a sharp metal probe with the tip in the flame of the pilot light. When working correctly, it will send a signal to the burners valve saying" the pilot's on, it's safe to open the valve and give it gas". When covered with carbon, it will not perform, so take some sandpaper to it or unscrew it from the valve(it is connected by a copper line about 1/8 inch thick). Any home improvement store has a generic one for about $10. Hope this helps.

2000 Cavalier Air Conditioning question?

I have a 2000 cavalier that the airconditioner turns on in 3 of the 6 defroster/fan settings without pushing the a/c switch. I have changed out the entire heater/air cond. control panel and the instrument cluster without any effect. Has anyone else had this problem on a Cavalier or heard of it before. It works great, it just turns on in recirc and both defrost modes without me pressing the a/c switch --- BCM maybe? the in-line diode by the compressor? It's obviously picking up a ground from somewhere.........any ideas?

The father never showed up to the negotiation conference back in 2000. Soon after I received a copy of the default order. It wasn't until 2004 that we went to court again, with him being there, where another order for child support was issued and he started paying. If your weekly paycheck says that federal and states have taken taxes from your weekly earnings, then why would anyone under these conditions have to file a 1040? It doesn't make sense. I've payed my taxes on a weekly basis, yet the IRS says it is with " voluntary cooperation" that we file a 1040. Define their words. Is it the law to file a tax return if you already have taxes taken out of your earnings? If for some reason you owe more than whats taken out, why didn't they take more out in the first place? Wright's ideas as radical on the liberal scale, just as radicals on the conservative scale believe the complete opposite. I do not think all African Americans will vote for Sen. i am married to someone who i thought i would be with for the rest of my life we have only been married for 3 years this July! we have 2 very young kids2 1/2 and 1 1/2 . but i am at my wits end!! my husband has very high expectations of me. We are both working full time jobs, I am lucky enough to to get to bring the kids with me to work so we dont have to pay for day care for some one else to raise my kids! If any of you have ever been able to take your kids to work with you at a young age you know how hard it is to keep them entertained, and out of everything! my husband thinks it is a walk in the park and i am just being lazy.. he also expects me to keep the house spotless and cook dinner every night by the time he gets home from work. I have enough energy when i get home to do a little bit, and when i dont get it all done when he wants it he flips out! he begins calling me names and cursing at me.. calling me a lazy b**** and that i am worthless! it is a constant fight all the time! and an hour after he yells at me like clockwork he appoligizes and expects me to forget all of the hurtfull things he has said to me... he doesnt understand why i am so tired alllllll the time he never helps out the babys either. He always has time to do what he wants and when ever i ask to go somewhere or for him to watch the babys for a little bit! we are fighting again! on his days off he will not even watch the kids he makes me take them to work with me, rather than watching them and letting them play at home rather than being confined into an office. I dont know what to do!?! I tell him all the time that he hurts my feelings and that it is hard for me to forget that he says that stuff to me, but i also think that is why he does it to make himself feel better. I so badly want to be with him for the rest of my life but it is not fair for me to have to put up with him talking that way to me ! and then it is not fair for my kids to hear him talk like that to me and i end up not being as good as mother as i should be when we are fighting...!
